Smart Slide Show for WordPress
This WordPress slide show plug-in looks simple yet, it has many features. Smart slide show has 35 types of image effects, you can choose any effect from admin panel. You can make the images appear with click / mouse over on the numbers. The distance between the numbers can be adjustable. You can also make the slide show corners rounded.
This is another free WordPress slideshow which is used extensively. It is simple and commonly used slideshow for WordPress. The auto slider time can be adjusted through wp slideshow admin options.

- Download the Plugins
- Login to your wordpress/wp-admin
- Go to Plugins > Click on Add new>Upload
- Click on Browse and locate “smart_slideshow.zip” plugin click on Upload file and click on Install
- Click on plugin “Activate" to enable the plugin.
- Please make "wp-content/plugins/smart-slide-show/myImages" directories writeable(755)
- click on the "Smart Slide Show settings" on leftside menu in admin side and Configure the width, height, font sizes, colors, background colors etc..

How to use it as a widget
After installing "smart slideshow" plugin in your theme just follow below instructions
- Go to Appearance > Widgets, we can simply drag & drop "smart slidshow" widget where ever you want to display it.
- To configure your slideshow settings click on "smart slideshow settings" on the leftside, and edit settings and click on "make config.xml" button.
- If you want display this widget on any certain pages of your site just you need to install "widget-context" (http://wordpress.org/extend/plugins/widget-context) plugin .
How to use plug-in in pages/posts
After installing "smart slideshow" plugin, follow the instructions below.

After installing "smart slideshow" plugin, follow the instructions below.
